How to make a botanical candle and a scented wax tablet (sachet) with dried flowers
Wax sachet is an original handmade natural scented sachet, made from natural products.
   Materials:
– plaster
– moulds (plastic jar, plastic round lid)
– soya wax
– wooden wick
– dried flowers (rose buds, rose petals, rose leaves)
– varnish
– plastic tube
– fragrance oil

Step 1
Mix a solution of gypsum + water. Put the solution into a mould (plastic jar). In the centre insert a wooden wick. Leave to harden for 2 hours.
Step 2
Melt wax on a water bath. Add aroma oil.
Step 3
Place dried flowers all over the diameter of the jar (see photo). Fix them with melted wax. After the wax hardens you can fill the candle with wax. Leave the candle to harden for 3 hours.

Step 4
Pour the wax into the plastic lid and let it harden a little. Put the dried flowers on and leave them to harden.

Step 5
Once the candle and tablet have hardened, remove them from the moulds.

Step 6
Coat the plaster part of the candle with varnish and leave to dry. In the upper part of the aromasachet, use a plastic tube to make a hole and tie a twine.
Cut off the excess wick on the candle.
The set of botanical candle and aromasachet are ready.
